* "Oklahoma Women in Public Safety" is the preliminary
name of a new organization it is hoped will develop from this first-ever
statewide meeting of Oklahoma public safety professional women in 2024. During
this "birthing" process, OKWIPS is being operated under the umbrella of Tulsa
Metro Women on Fire, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit through which Tulsa-area female
firefighters raise money in support of charitable causes.
